[Cord approaches Blair to talk to her, but Todd intervenes]
Cord: Look, excuse me, I need to talk to Blair here for a second, okay?
Todd: Are you really sure that Blair wants to talk to you?
Cord: Blair, I understand that you're upset about me running out on you yesterday --
Todd: (to Blair) Look, you don't gotta talk to this guy if you don't want to, right?
Cord: What are you -- are you her pet pit bull all of a sudden?
Blair: You know, Todd, it's all right. I would actually enjoy hearing Cord's creative excuse for blowing me off this time.
Todd: All right, cool with me. If you change your mind, I'll be in the lobby. (to Cord) "Ruff."


[Cord is shocked to learn that T&B are married]
Todd: Look, Cord, I got nothing against you. You’ve been decent to me, real decent. So I don't mean to get in your face. But you are way out of line, and you and Blair called it quits.
Cord: It's not quite that simple.
Blair: It's over, Cord.
Todd: You hear that? Now, she wants to marry somebody, that's her business.
Cord: Oh, come on, wake up. The only reason she married you was to get back at me.
Todd: Oh, so when you're around, there's no other guys in the world?


[Todd taunts the Buchanans about his and Blair's recent business moves]
Todd: When Blair gets her business off the ground, we're gonna give Serenity Springs a run for its mud, too.
Cord: Well, as long as you play fair, we'll take our chances.
Todd: Oh, what, "fair"? What? Like you and the Holdens blaming Blair for Luna's little trip to the hospital?
Cord: I never blamed Blair.
Todd: Gee. That must have been a first.


[T&B have crashed the Gold Star Gala]
Cord: You know, I don't remember your name being on the invitation list.
Todd: Yeah, well, somebody screwed up. Won't be long, though.
Cord: For what?
Todd: Well, 'till "Manning"'s on the top of every list.
Cord: (laughing) Don't count on it.
Todd: (with faux cheerfulness) Ha-ha! (grimly) Yeah, well, at least I can count.


[Cord almost runs into Todd]
Cord: Oh, you're still here.
Todd: Get used to it.
