Todd & Blair [2011, Part 3]

[Blair asks Tomas to go rescue Todd from Irene]
Tomas: You still have feelings for him, don't you?
Blair: He's the father of my children.
Tomas: No, it's more than that. Ever since he came back, you've been different.
Blair: Please? Will you just save him?

[Blair is fuming after Starr is arrested for breaking Todd out of jail]
Tea: Okay, if it makes you feel any better, Dani is the one who convinced me to represent Todd.
Blair: Well, of course, she did, because we got our own Pied Piper here!
Tea: He does have his ways.
Blair: No, he's -- it's classic Todd is what it is. Of course, I fell for it -- again. He does something, you know. He just ropes us in and gets us to feel sorry for him, and before we even have a chance to help him, he's gone off and done something stupid, like -- like this!

[Todd, wounded from the gunfight with Irene at the docks, takes refuge in Viki's cabin]
Ghost Irene: I was surprised how easily Victor insinuated himself into your family. All he had to do was claim that he was you. It didn't matter that he looked and sounded like an entirely different person. They all just fell in line. Todd is dead. Long live Todd.
Todd: That's because they missed me. They loved me so much, they wanted to believe that he was me.

Ghost Irene: I am the only one who understands you, who accepts you, warts and all. Look at you, crawling across the floor. You don't deserve to live, Todd. You are sick, and there is no cure for what ails you.
Todd: No. You're -- you're wrong. There is. She's just on the other end of that phone.

[Tomas arrives at the police station and tells Blair and Tea what has happened to Todd]
Tea: Todd's been shot?
Blair: Where is he?
Tomas: Keep it down.
Blair: How bad is he?
Tomas: He's not good, but he's strong enough.
Blair: Well, just tell me how bad it is!
Tomas: He was shot in the shoulder. He's bleeding profusely. But he left on his own power.
Blair: Where'd he go?
Tomas: I don't know. The police were arriving. There was no time to make a plan. His condition is deteriorating.

Tea: (about Todd) We need to find him.
Blair: Why are you looking at me?
Tea: You got to go find Todd.
Blair: No, no, no, no. I'm out of the Todd Manning rescuing business, okay? He got himself into this mess, he can get himself out of it.

Blair: (about Todd) I don't even know where he is! He could be anywhere! And if John's already looking for him, who's to say I'm gonna get there before he does? Come on.
Tea: You know him better than anyone, Blair. This is not the time to back down. This is the time to step up. Like you said...you need to be the hero here.

[Blair is distraught when she finds an unconscious Todd at Viki's cabin]
Blair: Oh, God! Oh, my God, he's dead! Oh, my God! Oh, my God. Todd, no. Your crazy mother did this to you, didn't she? She killed you. She took you away from us. Oh, my God. What am I gonna tell your kids? Oh, my God. How am I gonna to tell them that their father's dead?
Todd: (groaning) Don't you go burying me yet.
Blair: Oh, my God. You're alive!
Todd: Quit your screaming. You're gonna give me a heart attack.
Blair: You gave me a heart attack! I thought you were dead!
Todd: Sorry to disappoint you.

[Blair tries to take care of Todd's wound]
Blair: You're really, really bleeding here. I'm gonna get something to -- here. Got a couple of pillows. I'm gonna put this --
Todd: Are you kidding? Viki's pillows?
Blair: Yeah.
Todd: She's never gonna send you another Christmas card.

[Blair tells Todd how she found him]
Blair: There was a missed call from Viki's landline on my cell phone, and -- why did you call me? Why didn't you call Viki or Tea?
Todd: 'Cause you're the one, Blair. You're the one. I know that you care about me.

Blair: (about Starr) How could you put her in a position like that? Trying to get you to break out of jail?
Todd: I had to do it, Blair. My mother was gonna kill everyone that I care about. And that includes you.

Blair: Oh, you're bleeding so badly. You need help, Todd.
Todd: So, why -- why can't you help me?
Blair: Oh, gee. You know what? I just hadn't gotten that medical degree yet.
Todd: It's a flesh wound.
Blair: What?
Todd: It is. All you got to do is clean it out, wrap it. What could be so hard about that?
Blair: Right. That's it? Okay, yeah, I'll do it. Sure, sure. If you die on me, it's your own damn fault.

Blair: Okay, Viki has a pitiful-looking first-aid kit, and I got some clean towels. Now I need to see what's going on in here.
Todd: She's gonna bill us for dry cleaning.

Blair: Todd, we got to take your shirt off.
Todd: You first.
Blair: Come on.
Todd: Just saying. Missed you. Don't see you for eight years. This is not exactly how I pictured our reunion.
Blair: Me either. Me either. Okay, now, it's the last button. Put your arm there. I'm gonna pull you close to me, all right? You ready? Come on.

Blair: See now? That wasn't so bad, right? Could have been a hell of a lot worse.
Todd: Right. Worse than all the other bullet holes you've had to clean.

Blair: You got to stay with me now. Todd. Talk to me.
Todd: Am I dead?
Blair: Don't say that.
Todd: You just said, "Talk to me."
Blair: Well, I want you to talk to me but just don't use the "D" word, all right? Please.

Todd: I died eight years ago.
Blair: Stop it.
Todd: Been in purgatory. I don't know what it is about me. I thought I could come home. Make a fresh start. I'm so tired.
Blair: Todd, come on. Come on.
Todd: Hell's gonna be great, right?
Blair: Todd.
Todd: It's not like it's forever.
Blair: Come on, that's -- that's -- that's crazy talk. Damn it! Don't you die on me like this, all right? You don't put this off on me. Not after all the grief that you've caused me. You hear me? Damn it. Come on, you've got to stay awake for Starr. You owe that to her, of all the trouble you put her in. So come on. Oh, Todd. You're still alive, but barely. Come on! Hey, hey, hey, hey! Talk to me. Stop.
Todd: What's the matter with you? What are you doing? You don't have to be violent with me.

[Blair calls Dorian to find out how to deal with Todd's gunshot wound]
Blair: How do you fix a gunshot wound? Dress it, whatever. Dorian, no, no, none of the Cramer women are hurt, all right? Well, I'm not gonna tell you who it is. How'd you know it was Todd?
Todd: I want a real doctor.
Blair: No.
Todd: I want a real doctor.
Blair: (to Dorian) No, he did not. He didn't mean that. He has full faith in you, Dorian.
Todd: Yeah, faith that she's gonna let me die.
Blair: Okay. Stop. Listen, she made an oath not to harm anyone. Now, stop it.
Todd: Are we talking about the same Dorian?

Blair: Dorian is gonna talk me through it, and I'm gonna take it out.
Todd: Take what out?
Blair: The bullet.
Todd: You gonna dig it out with one of Viki's melon ballers?

[Blair is still on the phone with Dorian]
Blair: I got the sharpest knife that I could find and boiled the needle and the thread and the pliers.
Todd: Pliers?
Blair: And I found some extra towels, but I couldn't find any alcohol. (to Todd) She says this might hurt a little.
Todd: Yeah, kind of figured that.

[Blair prepares to take the bullet out of Todd]
Blair: This is a very expensive pen, okay? I'm gonna give this to you, you're gonna bite on it, and if you break it, you have to replace it for me. So here, you take that. Okay.
Todd: You have no idea what you're doing.
Blair: I don't. Todd, I'm kind of scared.
Todd: You're gonna do great. I totally trust you.
Blair: Well, then you're crazier than I think you are.

Blair: (handing Todd the pen) All right. Bite. Bite.
Todd: Yes, dear.

[After the operation...]
Blair: Hey. You okay?
Todd: Mm. Peachy.
Blair: It's out.
Todd: You didn't totally screw the whole thing up.
Blair: I'll take that as a thank you.
Todd: If I'm alive in the morning, I'll thank you.

Blair: Well, my job here's done. I'm gonna go.
Todd: No. Don't go.
Blair: I -- I got to -- I got to go. Starr needs me.
Todd: You can't go. You have to stay here. Starr's fine. She's in jail. They're not gonna let her out tonight, right?
Blair: But the boys and Mama, they need me.
Todd: There's a mess here. You made a big mess. There's blood everywhere.
Blair: I'll move you over there to the clean side. Okay?
Todd: No, I can't. You sliced me open. Who knows what you did to my insides?
Blair: Are you scared?
Todd: No. I'm not scared. I just don't want you to leave.
Blair: Okay. I'll stay. I'll stay right here. As long as you need me, okay?

Todd: (about Irene) I shot her.
Blair: Because she shot you?
Todd: There was an explosion. There was an explosion, and I thought that I'd lost all of you. She -- she said you were -- you were all dead.
Blair: Oh, God.
Todd: I felt like I had nothing to live for, so I pulled the trigger.

Todd: This is -- this is bad, huh?
Blair: (about Dorian) She thinks you're septic, that there's an infection in your bloodstream, and that's why we have to get the antibiotics now, okay?
Todd: Why bother?
Blair: No, Todd. Come on. We got to do something here!
Todd: I don't want you to go. If I die --
Blair: Don't talk like that!
Todd: I don't want to die alone. I don't want you to go.

[Blair calls Tea and asks her to bring antibiotics for Todd]
Tea: I will be up there within the hour, okay?
Blair: Just hope he -- he has enough time.
Tea: If there's anyone who can keep him alive, Blair, it's you.

[Blair cries over Todd's worsening condition]
Todd: Crybaby.
Blair: I'm not crying.
Todd: Are you crying 'cause I'm gonna die... or are you crying 'cause I might live?

Todd: Why -- why are you still here with me?
Blair: Because you're Starr's father. You're Jack's father and Danielle's father, and I don't want them to have to say goodbye to their dad yet again. And they're not gonna have to because Dorian has called in the prescription. Tea's gonna pick it up. You're gonna choke down the antibiotic, and you're gonna be fine. That is, if -- if you can just hang in there. I mean, come on. Can you hang in there, please? Please?
Todd: You betcha. Piece of cake.
Blair: Well, good... because you have eight years of tormenting me to make up for.
Todd: You got that right.

Tea: (to Starr) Please try not to worry. We both know your father is a fighter, and your mother is with him. He's gonna be all right, okay? He has too much to live for.

Todd: You know, if you let me nod off, at least then you'll finally be rid of me.
Blair: Yeah. Don't tempt me. Besides, I've...never been rid of you, even when I thought that I was. You've always been a part of my life ever since you walked in Rodi's that night and somebody played that stupid Louis Armstrong song.
Todd: Nat King Cole.
Blair: It was Louis Armstrong.
Todd: It was Nat King Cole. Nat King Cole. How could you forget something like that?
[T&B both flashback to the night the song played and it was, indeed, Nat King Cole]
Todd: Told you so.
Blair: Okay. I'll give you that one. What else do you remember?
Todd: Every little bit.
Blair: I thought you weren't sentimental.
Todd: I'm not. Just have an infallible memory. I'm cursed to remember every awful detail.
Blair: Do you ever wish you could forget?
Todd: Used to all the time, before my mom tried to take away all my memories. Come on. You never thought about it? Wouldn't it be great? You have a big eraser and you just get rid of all the bad stuff?
Blair: Well...if I got rid of all of the bad stuff --
Todd: Right. You wouldn't have any memories left of me.
Blair: If I got rid of all the bad stuff, then all the good stuff wouldn't be as meaningful.

[T&B remember the park bench conversation]
Todd: I don't understand. Is that a good memory or a bad memory?
Blair: A good memory... because before I ran into you that night, I thought I was all alone in the world. And after that night...I didn't.
Todd: You know, I -- I think a lot about that night.
Blair: Really?
Todd: I do. I think I got a bum rap. I think you were way, way more pathetic than I ever was.
Blair: Oh, this coming from somebody who couldn't get past his own misery. No, you had to wallow in it.
Todd: Right. Says the woman who drank herself into a stupor every time Max Holden made her feel bad about herself, which was just about every time she even --
Blair: Okay, you know what? I think you can go to sleep now.
Todd: I'm just saying. There's more to me than self-pity, don't you think?
Blair: Mm. Self-loathing. I'm just saying.
Todd: The stables. That ring any bells?
Blair: Okay. Well, maybe you could do... two things.

Blair: Does it hurt?
Todd: Bullet wound? Nah. It's like acupuncture.
Blair: You're a survivor.
Todd: You don't need to tell me. I was married to you, lived to tell the tale.
Blair: Oh, come on. You were no walk in the park. It's not like you swept me off my feet or anything.

Blair: My motives for marrying you, they may have been a little mixed at first.
Todd: Right. Only 99% money-grubbing, the other 1% was status-seeking.
Blair: Oh, come on. I mean, it worked out. I mean, look what came out of it, right?
Todd: The first time I held Starr was the first time I ever felt alive.
Blair: I wish I could have been there.
Todd: What, to see me almost drop her? I was not exactly a natural.
Blair: You did the best you could.
Todd: I wanted so much for her.
Blair: Well, you know what? It turns out you didn't dream big enough for Starr, because she is gonna surpass all of your dreams. You just wait and see.

Todd: I don't understand. Starr's doing so well. And Jack...
Blair: Oh, Jack -- you just -- you got to give him some time.
Todd: I'll give him all the time in the world. It won't make up for what I did. I thought I was getting rid of Max Holden's kid. Turns out, I was getting rid of our kid.
Blair: That was the worst thing you ever did to me, Todd.
[T&B flashback to Blair confronting Todd over the dead baby lie]
Todd: That was the worst thing I ever did to you.
[Blair nods sadly in agreement]

Blair: How you feeling?
Todd: Peachy.
Blair: Good.
Todd: Long trip down memory lane has done wonders for my soul.

Todd: Tell me you didn't tell the kids bedtime stories like this when I was gone.
Blair: Come on. Our kids -- like their parents, they like horror stories.
Todd: Speak for yourself. I like a fairy tale now and then.
Blair: Well, those stories never actually sounded, um, authentic coming from me.
Todd: Well, that's because you don't really believe. But I do.
Blair: I thought fairy tales were supposed to have happy endings.
Todd: Who says this one's over?
[T&B lean in for a kiss...]

[Tea walks into the cabin just as Todd and Blair are about to kiss]
Tea: Oh. Am I interrupting something?
Blair: I -- I was just trying to -- to keep him talking, Tea. You know, he's -- he's completely out of his mind with fever. And I'm afraid if he, you know, he falls asleep, he's not gonna wake up, so...we were talking about old times. So, I -- I'm gonna get him some water. Did you bring those antibiotics?
Todd: One more, and we're four for bridge.
Blair: See? Completely out of his mind.

Todd: (to Tea, about Blair) You didn't look so good when she pushed you out of a window.

Blair: (about Tomas) I sent him down there to the docks to protect you, and then he ends up pleading guilty for a crime that he didn't even commit! Damn you, Todd!
Todd: Look, it's not like I asked the guy to plead guilty.
Blair: You never have to do that! All you have to do is just breathe, and then we all have to pay for it! What are you laughing about?
Todd: It's cute. You get so angry at me. You kind of get all southern.
Blair: Oh, shut up!

Blair: While I was taking a stroll down memory lane trying to save your life, our daughter was freezing to death in some holding cell all because of you, all because you dragged her into helping you escape. And now she's being charged with what, half a dozen felonies? Is that what it is?
Todd: No, she hasn't even been arraigned yet. Never mind charged with anything.
Blair: She's being held hostage, Todd! I'm gonna go check on her.
Todd: Thank you so very much for saving my life.
Blair: Too little, too late.
Tea: Blair. You're not gonna give him up, are you, to help Starr's case?
Blair: Well, I really can't do that now, can I? Because then I will be an accessory to murder, and then the whole family can be in jail. Wouldn't that just be lovely? He's all yours.

Tea: Did Blair really remove the bullet?
Todd: Yes, she did. With one of Viki's melon ballers. And no anesthesia, which I think she actually enjoyed. She's furious at me for involving Starr in all this.

Blair: We just want the right person in jail.
Jack: No, you just want Scarface out! You don't care what he did. You just want Todd, like you never even knew Dad!

Blair: Where is he? Tea...what happened to Todd? What happened? Did -- did Todd take a turn for the worse?
Tea: No, I got him into bed.
Blair: Excuse me?
Tea: I made him go to bed. His fever broke, so all he needs to do now is rest.
[Blair sighs in relief]

Bo: Shane confessed he hit Jack, which disproves Jack's claim that it was Todd that hit him, so...yeah, this could be really good for Todd -- if he wasn't a fugitive... and hiding out somewhere that only his most trusted friends would know about.
Blair: What are you getting at, Bo?

Todd: Hanging around here, staying under the radar, fearful to even go outside 'cause it may not be safe is starting to feel a lot like jail.
Tea: Well, I guess that makes me your cell mate...at least till Blair comes back.

Tomas: (to Blair, about Todd) You asked me to save him, remember? You were afraid for him. You sent me after him. So that's what I'm doing. I'm saving Todd...for you. Because you asked me to. So I'm asking you to tell me the truth. Is there still some part of you that is just so in love with Todd? It's true, isn't it? That's why you asked me to save Todd when he went after Irene? Part of you is still in love with him, aren't you?

Starr: Dad and I both plead guilty.
Blair: Guilty?!
Starr: Yes. But we both got suspended sentences and community service.
Blair: Oh, my God! That's great!
Todd: Well, we're gonna be picking up trash on the side of the road, so...
Blair: Well, that's pretty great.
Nora: Well, I think you got lucky there, Todd. You softened up the judge by taking the fall for Starr.
Todd: Told you I wouldn't let our little girl go down for that.
Blair: Well, it's a damn good thing.

Blair: So, tell me the truth, Todd. Can you really in good conscience allow Tomas to be put away for a murder that you committed? You gonna answer me?
Todd: I'll answer you. But I don't think you're gonna like my answer.

Blair: So much for the new and improved Todd Manning, huh? My God, I can't believe I fell for this. Eight years you've been locked away, mourning your life, missing your kids. And you know what? You got me to thinking, well, maybe -- maybe that has turned you into a better man. No, you're no better than Victor ever was.
Todd: That is the single last time you EVER compare me to Victor.

Blair: You were the one that always said that we should have known that Victor was the imposter, because he did things that you never would have.
Todd: Well, I wouldn't steal a man's family and play make-believe and pretend they were all mine. Even I wouldn't do that.

Blair: Okay, Todd. Everybody knows that you and Nora had some kind of history. Big deal.
Todd: Oh, no, no, no. You and Asa had "some kind of history."
Blair: Okay, you can stop it now.
Todd: Marty Saybrooke herself could come and plead for my mercy, and Nora would still throw me in the hole.

Todd: (about Tomas) What should I save him?
Blair: Because it's the right thing to do! I must be out of my mind to talk to you about doing what's right. When did you ever care about what's right or what's wrong?
Todd: Tomas Delgado saw to it that I was drugged and tortured on a daily basis for eight years. You tell me -- is that right or wrong?

Todd: Eight years ago, Tomas had the power. He didn't have to do what he did, but he took me out of that crypt, and he took me away from you. He took me away from Starr and Jack, and he -- he delivered me to Irene's right-hand man. You never met Baker, did you?
Blair: No, I didn't.
Todd: Lucky you. I got to know him really well.
Blair: I'm sorry. I'm sorry about all of that. I know it must have been awful --
Todd: No, you don't know. My brain was fried for the better part of 10 years because of your boyfriend.
Blair: He was -- he was taking orders from the wrong people. He thought he was fighting for the safety of this --
Todd: Well, then he's either stupid or stupid. He should have figured out he was working for the devil.

Blair: (about Tomas) He has tried to make amends. That's why he confessed to your crime, Todd.
Todd: Who am I to stand between a man and his good conscience?

Todd: If I walk in there and confess to killing Irene...I lose everything I fought to come home to.
Blair: No.
Todd: Everything.
[T&B hold hands]
Blair: You won't, Todd. They won't send you away. Irene was gonna blow us all up. They know that. You were shot. It's not like you did it in cold blood. I mean, you are capable of a lot of things, but I know that you're not capable of that.

Blair: (about Tomas) He's so determined to make up for what he did to you that he doesn't see the damage that he's caused to all the people that are around him, people that need him in their lives, people that love him.
Todd: Like you? Do you love him?
[Blair stays silent]
Todd: You're not sure? It's just the thought of losing him?
Blair: Why does it matter to you how I feel about Tomas? Would it sway your decision one way or the other?
Todd: No, not at all. My mind is made up. I finally have my life back. I'm not gonna lose it to help the guy that took it away in the first place.

Blair: You were in that cage for eight years, Todd. You want to put somebody else there? Can you really live with yourself?
Todd: You'd be surprised what a man can live with.

[Irene's ghost haunts Todd]
Ghost Irene: Look, you did what you had to do. Stop making excuses and shifting blame. Admit what you did. Own it.
Todd: I didn't really have a choice, did I? Victor was gonna come after me the first chance he got.
Ghost Irene: Attaboy. Now you're talking. You were justified. And whatever you do, don't listen to Blair.

[Irene tries to convince Todd not to confess to her murder]
Todd: If I can't manage a day without seeing you, maybe Blair's right. Maybe I can't live with myself.
Ghost Irene: You shouldn't be listening to Blair.

[Blair talks to Todd after he turns himself in for Irene's murder]
Blair: That...was a very good thing.
Todd: Yeah, well, we'll see.
Blair: What else did you do? You said to Tea that there were other things that --
Todd: You know, I just spared your boyfriend 20 years in the slammer. Can we just skip the third degree for now, please?

Tomas: I told you I loved you. You never answered me back.
Blair: You chose prison over me.
Tomas: Is that the reason why you can't say "I love you"? Or is it Todd?
Blair: You know what? Go to hell!

Tomas: I want your forgiveness.
Blair: For what?
Tomas: What I said to you before about your feelings for Todd. That's your past. If I can't get you to move beyond that, I don't deserve you.

Blair: (about Todd) It was only natural that I was worried about him. I -- it's --
Tomas: Who are you trying to convince, Blair? Me...or yourself?

Tomas: (about Todd) I'm sure he wants you. Who wouldn't? You're beautiful, you're smart, you're full of life. You're the woman I painted all those years ago. But you've had him.
Blair: I was married to him.
Tomas: I understand the pull of the familiar. I understand all that. It's like a pair of old slippers you keep under the bed.
Blair: I don't have a pair of old slippers under my bed.

Todd: I'm back. I want it all. I want my money, I want my newspaper, I want my children -- everything that I lost. Especially Blair. Eight years, I never stopped thinking about her.
Viki: You want Blair back?
Todd: She's the mother of my children.
Viki: When you disappeared eight years ago, you were divorced.
Todd: Well, maybe that wasn't such a great idea.
Viki: You had a lot of problems.
Todd: What couple doesn't have their ups and downs? I thought about her every day when we were apart. It's a very difficult thing to miss a woman. And I was terrified that I had been forgotten.
Viki: I can't speak for Blair, but, you know, things change.
Todd: The minute I saw her at the movie premiere and I kissed her, and I knew right away that she remembered. She remembered. She's the one. She saved my life in the woods. She did. If it weren't for her, I would have bled to death all over your kitschy overstuffed sofa. And the whole time we're there together, there's something between us. We both felt it.
Viki: I thought she was involved with Tomas Delgado.
Todd: Yeah, well... it's like you said, things change.

[Todd shows up at La Boulaie on Halloween; he's wearing a wolf costume]
Todd: Grrr! Trick-or-treat!
Blair: Aren't you getting a little long in the tooth for this?
Todd: The day I'm too old for free candy is the day I'm dead. And thank God -- I'm still kicking!

Blair: I guess I shouldn't be surprised that you're out howling tonight. You always did have a fondness for Halloween.
Todd: You know I love a freak. And you have the best candy.
[Blair snatches the candy bowl away from Todd]
Todd: I'm not getting any sugar from your bowl?

Todd: Go get Jack. We'll TP the Buchanan house together. I'm serious. Go get Jack. I got, like, 96 rolls of double-ply in the car.
Blair: Listen, I think you just need to take it slowly with Jack.
Todd: He's my son.
Blair: Well, he still thinks of Victor as his father. And he needs to grieve in his own time.
Todd: Okay. How long do I got to wait for that?
Blair: As long as it takes. I think maybe we could start with him, you know, actually using your real name.

Todd: Did you get a lot of candy?
Sam: Tons. We didn't even hit the south side yet.
Todd: That's 'cause your mom doesn't know where the really good candy is.
Sam: I tried to tell her. She's taking me back out later.
Todd: Well, at least she listens to one of us.

Blair: Okay, who's ready to go trick-or-treating?
Sam: Me! Can Uncle Todd come, too?
Blair: Well, actually, Uncle Todd may already have some plans --
[Todd jumps in and interrupts]
Todd: Nope. No plans. I'm going trick-or-treating. You just try and stop me.
Sam: Yes!

Blair: Thank you.
Todd: For what?
Blair: Just for being so kind to Victor's little boy.
Todd: He's your little boy, too, right?
Blair: Um...I'll be back.
[Blair quickly leaves the room]
Todd: Just spit it out, Manning. Tell her you want her back.

[Todd practices his speech to Blair on a pumpkin]
Todd: Blair, I've floated on a raft across an ocean to get to you. Broke out of a paramilitary institution. I feel like you owe me. You want to make out? (he makes the pumpkin shake its "head") Yeah, I wouldn't, either. Not exactly Shakespeare. Alas, poor Victor. I knew him well. Simple and direct, Manning. It's always the way to go. I love you, Blair. I always have. I want you back. (he comes close to kissing the pumpkin, then stops) Not really gonna make out with a pumpkin. Pumpkin's a pumpkin. (sighing) I love you. I want you back. I love you and I want you --

[Irene interrupts Todd's plan to tell Blair that he loves her]
Todd: Go away.
Ghost Irene: So you can tell Blair that you love her and want her back? I think not.
Todd: You have no say in that.

Ghost Irene: (about Sam) You think he'd be drawing pumpkins in your likeness if he knew you killed his father? Would Jack forgive you? Would Blair understand and take you back?
Todd: Only one way to find out.

Ghost Irene: By all means, tell Blair how you feel. Reunite. Have a grand time trick-or-treating. We'll see how long your happiness lasts once they see through your disguise to the killer that you really are. You'll be left all alone, begging for me to come back.
Todd: Go back to hell!
