"Todd"/Victor & Blair [2003, Part 1]
(Note: When Victor first arrived in town, he told everyone that he was Mitch Laurence's younger brother, Walker. In reality, he believed himself to be Todd Manning, and even though he was drawn to Blair, he continued to pretend to be Walker because he believed that Blair wouldn't love him if she thought he was Todd.)

[Blair and Dorian are eating at the country club]
Dorian: If Walker contacted Jessica, we have to find out what she told him.
Blair: I don't understand why you're so obsessed with this man. I mean, it's no big deal. It's not like he's any threat to us.
[Suddenly, Walker approaches them]
"Walker"/Victor: (gesturing towards an empty seat) May I?

"Walker"/Victor: (to Blair) I'm Walker Laurence. You know, Ms. Cramer, you are even more beautiful than people said you were.

"Walker"/Victor: So, I've been going around town. It seems people have a very bad opinion of my brother.
Blair: He was a rapist, a murderer, and a thief.

"Walker"/Victor: I've heard all the things that my brother supposedly did -- well, probably not all of them, but enough.
Blair: You've heard them, I lived them.

"Walker"/Victor: I want to find out what happened to Mitch. And if what everyone says is true, I want to make amends.
Blair: Amends?
"Walker"/Victor: It was very nice meeting you, Blair. I'm looking forward to the next occasion.

[Walker shows up at Dorian's house soon after Addie was attacked by someone at St. Anne's]
Blair: What do you want?
"Walker"/Victor: Nothing. I heard about your mother. I came to see you.

"Walker"/Victor: I'm on your side.
Blair: All right. Well, if that's true, then will you answer something for me, please?
"Walker"/Victor: If I can.
Blair: Did Mitch happen to mention anything about Todd Manning?
"Walker"/Victor: Your ex-husband? You think Mitch did something to him?
Blair: Look, if you know anything, will you just please tell me? That was my little girl, and she asks about her father every day and I have a little boy and he's just a baby, but I know that he misses his father.
"Walker"/Victor: I'm sorry. I never heard Mitch say that name.

"Walker"/Victor: Maybe the fact that Mitch never mentioned Todd means he doesn't know anything about him.
Blair: Something happened to Todd.
"Walker"/Victor: Well, I'm sorry if my brother caused it.
Blair: I wish your brother had never been born.

Blair: I really don't want to hear anything good about Mitch.
"Walker"/Victor: I know. I know. But you have to understand, he was like a superhero to me.
Blair: He's not a superhero anymore, Walker.
"Walker"/Victor: I know. He's become what he used to protect me from -- our father. How does that happen? How do we become what we hate most?

"Walker"/Victor: I won't let Mitch hurt you or anyone else again.
Blair: How are you going to stop that?
"Walker"/Victor: I know what I have to do.

[Walker saved Blair from Mitch and then nearly died in a fire -- he and Blair reunite at the hospital]
Blair: Walker? Oh, my God, are you all right?
"Walker"/Victor: I'm okay.
Blair: What happened? Where's Mitch?
"Walker"/Victor: I don't know.
Blair: I was so worried about you. Thank God you're all right.

[Walker, having nowhere else to go, ends up staying at Dorian and Blair's house]
"Walker"/Victor: Hopefully, I won't have to stay long.
Blair: Anyone who saves my life is entitled to stay in my home as long as they want.

"Walker"/Victor: You have a way about you. I felt it the first time I saw you. You're very beautiful, but it isn't that. It's something unpredictable and dangerous, I have a feeling.
Blair: You can spare me the moth-to-the-flame routine. I've heard it before.
"Walker"/Victor: Hmm. I bet you have.

Dorian: What exactly is the nature of your relationship with Blair?
"Walker"/Victor: Well, we just went through hell together, that's all.
Dorian: She's very grateful to you for saving her life.
"Walker"/Victor: Thank God I did.
Dorian: Yes, thank God. So you and Blair have gotten close?
"Walker"/Victor: Well, you know the old saying -- when you save someone's life, you're --
Dorian: That's right -- you are then responsible for them for the rest of your life or something like that.

Blair: (to Walker) I don't think Todd's still alive. I've never said that out loud. I guess how do I expect Starr to get over him if I can't, either.

[Blair is shocked to learn that Dorian offered Walker a job at "The Sun"]
Blair: (to Walker) Look, I am so sorry that my aunt misled you, but she couldn't offer you a discount subscription to "The Sun," much less a job. My ex-husband owns that paper.
Dorian: Blair, it's really not healthy for you to keep pretending this way. As difficult as it may be, you have got to accept the fact that Todd isn't coming back.
Blair: We don't know that for sure, Dorian.

"Walker"/Victor: My interest has always been investigative reporting.
Blair: Really? I don't see you collecting bribes down at city hall.
"Walker"/Victor: Oh. What about you? You think you're going to be back to work for "The Sun"?
Blair: Yeah. I'm going to go big guns for my daughter's future.
"Walker"/Victor: I'd love to work with you.

[Blair allows Walker to stay at Todd's penthouse]
Blair: I have a really hard time talking about Todd. I'm sorry.
"Walker"/Victor: You really loved him?
Blair: Oh, I hated him. But, yeah, I loved him. Todd was -- he -- well, you know what? The place is vacant, so you're welcome to take it as long as you like, but if Todd does come back --
"Walker"/Victor: If Todd comes back, I can't think of a happier reason to get kicked out of a penthouse.

[Starr is furious to learn that Walker is now living in Todd's penthouse]
Starr: Dad's going to come back. He is.
Blair: I hope that you are right, sweetie.
"Walker"/Victor: Hey, Starr? If your dad comes home, I'll move right out of the apartment. No questions asked.
Starr: I don't like it.

[Blair goes to visit Mitch in prison]
Mitch: Two Cramer women in one day. "Then there came two women, both harlots, unto the king and stood before him."
Blair: Are you done? I hope so, because I don't have a lot of time to spend on scripture. I'm just going to lay the facts out here on the line, all right? My testimony could have a big influence on your sentencing. But I'm willing to negotiate. I'll go easy if you tell me what really happened to Todd. I want to know. And so do my children. Is he alive?
Mitch: Well, if I was a betting man, I'd bet on death. It comes to us all, sooner or later. Sometimes sooner. "And he laid a hold of the dragon and cast him into a bottomless pit and shut him up."
Blair: (visibly upset) I have to go.

Dorian: Honey, you're still upset over seeing Mitch, aren't you?
Blair: The freak practically admitted that he killed Todd.

Blair: (about Walker) He took a bullet for me and he hardly knew me, and that's points in my book, so I trust him.

[Walker/Todd has just convinced Mitch to give him control of his assets]
Mitch: Well, this is quite a leap of faith on my part, brother, trusting you with this. I'm taking that leap because I believe in the bond of our blood.
"Walker"/Victor: Is this everything? (referring to Dorian) She won't get your money, brother. Is it "deliver him from going down into the pit, I have found a ransom"? Is that sort of how it goes?
Mitch: Job 33:24.
"Walker"/Victor: Yeah, I'm sure you're right. No, she won't get the money. And you'll never see it again either. After all, you're going to rot in prison till the day you die.
[Walker/Todd laughs to himself as Mitch stares at him in shock]
