Tina Confronts Blair Over T&B's Marriage

After leaving Rodi's, Blair returns to the penthouse and calls for Todd as she opens the door.

Blair: Todd? Todd, are you here?

Blair takes a few more steps inside and looks around.

Blair: Todd? (suddenly remembering) That's right -- he went to look for a job.

She puts down her purse and pours herself a drink.

Blair: Pregnant women don't drink, do they? It's a good thing I'm not pregnant.

She takes a sip of her drink but then suddenly doubles over crying as the full force of what she's done -- the break-up with Cord, the pregnancy lie, and the marriage to Todd -- comes crashing down on her.

Blair: My God -- oh, my God. What have I done? What have I done?

When the scene returns, Blair is gazing at a framed photograph of Cord that she's kept in her penthouse.

Blair: Oh, Cord.

Suddenly, the doorbell rings. When Blair goes to answer it, she is shocked to find Tina on the doorstep.

Blair: What the hell are you doing here?
Tina: I came to give you a piece of my mind.
Blair: You think you can spare any?

Tina walks into the penthouse.

Tina: You think you're clever, don't you? You just think you can do anything to anybody whenever you want, no matter who gets hurt!
Blair: What are you talking about?
Tina: Cord! You led him on, and then you married Todd Manning! Do you have any idea how you've broken Cord's heart?? Do you even care??

Blair shoots Tina a textbook example of a "if looks could kill" glare.

--end scene

Blair slams the door behind her and Tina.

Blair: You are something else, coming over here to accuse me of hurting Cord the way you treated him all those years!
Tina: How dare you say anything about my relationship with Cord? We had a marriage! You had nothing! You just chewed him up and spit him out!
Blair: How dare you come here and attack me, you little liar??
Tina: What? Liar? Me?
Blair: You came -- you came to the airport, and you told me that you and Cord had gotten back together!
Tina: Oh, wait, so now you're blaming me because you decided to marry a rapist?
Blair: (seething) How dare you talk about my husband like that? You get outta here, Tina. Get out of here -- (she flings the door back open) or I call the police!
Tina: Oh, I'm sure they'll jump when you call! You probably slept with half the force!
Blair: (grabbing Tina and forcing her toward the door) Get out, Tina! I mean it!

But before Blair can push Tina out the door, Tina turns around, slams the door shut, and stands in front of it so Blair is forced to face her.

Tina: No! We are just getting started, Blair.

--end scene

After Tina refuses Blair's order to leave the penthouse, she saunters back inside and toward the living room. Blair is, understandably, furious.

Blair: Oh, fine -- you want me to throw you out? My pleasure!

Blair grabs Tina's arm, but Tina shakes her off.

Tina: Get your hands off of me! What, your new husband is giving you lessons in brute force?
Blair: You say one more word about Todd, so help me, you'll be sorry!
Tina: Not half as sorry as Cord is for ever getting mixed up with you!
Blair: You know what your problem is, Tina? You just can't stand the fact that someone else comes first in Cord's life other than you! Well, guess what? He was all over me a few years ago back in Jaba when you two were still married.
Tina: I've always known you were slutting after him back then, but don't blame me you came in second, as always.
Blair: Yeah, sure, 'cause he couldn't get away from you because you pulled your phony damsel in distress and then had to beg him to save you out of another one of the things that you've messed your life up with!
Tina: Jealousy. Yep, it's jealousy 'cause Cord preferred his family to you.
Blair: Oh, is that why you lied to me and told me the two of you had gotten back together for your family's sake?
Tina: You're damn right I lied! I had to do something before you did any more damage.
Blair: Well, if someone ruined Cord's life, it's you, Tina.
Tina: At least I have never gotten back at him by marrying someone else out of spite!
Blair: You have no idea why I married Todd.

Viewers know that this is getting at Tina's true reason for being at the penthouse -- Tina is trying to figure out if Blair married Todd because Blair knows of Todd's coming inheritance.

Meanwhile, outside in the hallway, Todd has arrived and is about to open the penthouse door when he hears the two women arguing. He stays quiet for a moment and listens.

Tina: Oh, no? Fill me in, Blair. Why would you marry Todd if it wasn't to hurt Cord? Do you have a thing for rapists or something?

Instead of entering the penthouse, Todd stays in the hallway, listening closely.

Back in the penthouse, Blair advances again on Tina in a threatening manner.

Blair: You just shut up, you little tramp, or I'll shut your mouth for you!

--end scene

Tina: Little touchy about your jailbird husband?
Blair: You are one to talk. You've probably spent more time behind bars than Todd has, you hypocrite.
Tina: I'd rather be a hypocrite than a whore.
Blair: Oh --

At that moment, Todd enters the penthouse and interrupts the argument.

Todd: What's going on here?
Blair: Oh, well --
Todd: (to Tina) What are you doing here?
Blair: Little Miss Tina thought she would stop by and congratulate us on our marriage.
Todd: Funny way of showing it.

Tina continues staring at Todd, who has taken his place right at Blair's side; it's obvious that Tina's still in shock that this man is her brother. Todd notices her staring.

Todd: What?
Tina: (shaking her head) I just can't believe that you two are married.
Todd: Why? What's it to you?
Tina: (to Blair) Couldn't you have hurt Cord just as much by sleeping with Todd? Did you have to marry the guy?
Blair: Shut up, Tina.
Tina: Oh, what's the matter, Blair? You afraid Todd's going to find out that you had an ulterior motive? Because you always do.
Todd: Watch it, Tina.
Tina: Not that you two don't deserve each other.
Blair: Get out, Tina.
Tina: But I am curious about one thing -- what kind of life do you two expect to have? (to Todd) Do you even have a job? (to Blair) And you know your silly little pipe dream business that's never going to see the light of day now that Cord is out of the picture --
Blair: Get out, Tina! And what I do with my life is none of your business, just like Todd is none of David Vickers'!
Todd: Why don't you get out of here, Tina, before I throw you out.
Tina: (to Todd) You know, I almost feel sorry for you, Todd. Not even you deserve being stuck with this witch.

Blair shoves Tina, who turns and flounces out the door and into the hallway. After the door closes behind her, she stops to think out loud.

Tina: Ugh! I can't believe that's my brother. (thinks for a moment) He didn't have a clue. Neither of them acted like they knew anything about the inheritance.

Tina smiles sneakily and then exits the hallway.
