Blair is back at St. Anne's, showing off some little baby booties she bought to Addie.

Blair: Aren't these the cutest little things you've ever seen, Mama?
Addie: (skeptically) Are you happy, Blair?
Blair: Oh, Mama, don't I look happy?
Addie: But you don't love Todd.
Blair: Well, we're getting along, though.
Addie: I thought you married him because he was rich. And you're not pregnant -- that's what you told me.
Blair: That's -- that's true, but -- Mama, don't you remember the last time that I was here, I told you that I am pregnant. I really am pregnant. And it's a good thing, too, because Asa has been talking to Todd, telling him stories about how I faked a pregnancy when I was married to him.
Addie: You didn't love Asa either. And you hated being married to him. Asa was bad!
Blair: I know, Mama, he was. But don't worry -- Todd is not one little bit like Asa Buchanan.

Addie: I'm happy about the baby.
Blair: You know, when Todd made me take that home pregnancy test, I thought, "Well, that's it. Game's over." And I'm glad I didn't say anything stupid. (sighs in relief) You know what happened this morning?
Addie: What?
Blair: I -- I had morning sickness!

Blair giggles at the thought, but Addie seems upset about something. She turns away from Blair and goes to sit on the bench. Blair, concerned, follows after her.

Blair: Mama, what's the matter? What is it?
Addie: I don't remember.
Blair: (kneeling next to her) Mama, you don't remember what?
Addie: I -- I don't remember being pregnant. I carried you. I must've carried you...nine months. You're my baby. I must've. I must've!

Addie grows more and more upset and Blair quickly sits down on the bench next to her to try to calm her down.

Blair: Mama, Mama, we're gonna do this together, all right? And I'm gonna share everything with you.

Blair puts Addie's hand on her belly.

Blair: Feel this. We are gonna be pregnant together, and I am gonna tell you everything, all right? You know something? Since I wasn't able to be around you when I was a little girl, I'm gonna give this baby everything that I can, Mama.
Addie: I'm sorry, Blair, I wish --
Blair: Shh, Mama. Don't you be sorry. And since you weren't able to be around me when I was a little girl, I'm gonna give you everything. And you know what? You are gonna be a wonderful grandmother. And this little baby right here is gonna know that it has two parents that love it very much! And a sweet, wonderful Grandma Addie that loves it very, very much. (she strokes Addie's face)
Addie: Thank you, Blair. I wish I could remember.
Blair: You will, Mama. You will. (smiling) I can't wait for you to meet Todd.

Addie stares at Blair like she doesn't remember the name.

Blair: (prompting) Your son-in-law.

Suddenly, Addie starts laughing.

Blair: What are you laughing -- what's funny? What?
Addie: Asa was my son-in-law.

Blair sees the humor in that and giggles.

Addie: I'm glad he's not anymore.
Blair: Me, too. Oh, you'll like Todd. Oh, Mama, I'm gonna have the family that I always dreamed about. I mean, look at us -- here we are, with a baby on the way and everything!
Addie: What about Todd? What's his family like?
Blair: (laughing) The Lords? Oh, Mama, I don't think Todd wants to have anything to do with them.
Addie: Why is that funny?
Blair: Because, Mama, they're just freaking out, and I love it! I absolutely love it!

Later that morning, Blair is at the country club ordering a big breakfast from the waiter.

Blair: ...and flapjacks. (she hands the menu back to the waiter) Oh, and a bagel with cream cheese and lots of jam.
Waiter: Okay.
Blair: And do you have, um, danish?
Waiter: I'll check and see.
Blair: Great.

Blair goes back to admiring the pair of baby shoes she'd been showing Addie earlier. The waiter, however, clearly feels the need to make sure Blair really wants that much food.

Waiter: Is that a short stack of flapjacks?
Blair: Absolutely not! I'm eating for two now.
Waiter: Oh, congratulations!
Blair: (giggling happily) Thank you!
Waiter: Oh, be careful, now! You don't want that kid growing into a giant until after he's born.

Blair is not amused by the joke.

Blair: Just get the food, all right?

The waiter quickly leaves, and Blair continues admiring the baby shoes.

Suddenly, Cord enters the dining room. He stops in his tracks when he spots Blair, who looks up just in time to see him staring at her before he turns on his heels and leaves. Blair looks regretful but, of course, doesn't follow him.
