Morning dawns at the Palace Hotel and on T&B, who are in bed together after having made love for the first time since 1995. Blair wakes up first and looks over at Todd, who appears to still be asleep.

Blair: (whispering) Todd?

He doesn't stir, so she puts on her robe and gets out of bed and goes to his jacket, which she picks up so she can check something in the pocket. Suddenly, she hears Todd speak behind her.

Todd: Where do you think you're going?

Todd is now awake, and he watches Blair with curiosity.

Blair: I was just looking --

She pulls her hand out of the pocket and shows him that she has the engagement ring.

Blair: For this. Why? Did you think I was gonna bolt?

Todd processes this.

Todd: You like the ring?
Blair: (softly) I love the ring. I loved everything about last night. This morning, I woke up clearer and happier than I've been in what seems like forever. You gave me that, Todd.
Todd: So you'll marry me.
Blair: As soon as my divorce is final.

Todd leans over to grab the phone and starts punching in a number. Blair goes to sit at the foot of the bed and watches him with interest.

Todd: Good morning, Judge Franklin! Hi! Todd Manning, here -- I'm the publisher of The Sun. I'm sitting here with my photo editor! Got a great picture of you with a very attractive blonde -- a brunette!

Blair covers her mouth to stifle her laughter.

Todd: And, uh, he wants to run it on the front page, but I'm telling him it would be much more effective to just send a copy to your wife. Whoa, whoa, slow down, hold on, now -- there's a third option. Here you go -- listen. All you have to do is sign off on whatever papers I have messengered to your office this morning. You -- now, don't be unkind. This is just business.

Todd hangs up and looks at Blair.

Todd: Well, there you go. Now there's nothing in your way.

When the scene returns, Starr is in the room with them, and all three are sitting on the bed together while Todd gets his shoes on and Blair allows Starr to try on the engagement ring.

Blair: Isn't it absolutely beautiful?
Starr: I'm not getting dressed up unless you guys are really getting married this time.
Blair: We are really getting married this time.
Todd: Yeah, it's for real this time, Starr.
Starr: Then I want a new dress -- a different one!
Blair: (laughing happily) You're going to get a different dress! You're gonna to have the most beautiful dress you have ever seen, and I'm gonna have the most beautiful dress you have ever seen, and we're gonna have flowers and a big old cake and dancing! It's gonna be -- it's gonna be beyond our wildest dreams! But you know what? I have so much -- let me have my ring back --

Starr gives the ring back, and Blair puts it on her finger.

Blair: So much to get ready for and so many errands to run. I'll be right back, and then we're going to have a big celebration, just the three of us, one big, happy family, okay?

Blair kisses and hugs Starr, who is beaming happily.

Blair: I love you.

Blair then gets off the bed, and as she passes Todd to walk out the door, she rubs his arm affectionately.

Blair: See ya!

She leaves.

Starr: Are we really gonna be a family this time?
Todd: We already are a family, Starr.
Starr: Like normal people?
Todd: Your mother's not normal.
Starr: She's not?
Todd: No. She's better than that. She sees things that nobody else sees, and she knows what she wants, and she makes sure that she gets it.
Starr: Like you.
Todd: Yeah, like you. Don't forget that. We'll have it all, Starr. Don't worry.
Starr: Everything?
Todd: Yeah, more than everything.

Todd gets off the bed.

Starr: That means I get a baby brother now, right?

Todd, surprised by this, turns around to face her.
