When's Blair Gonna Wise Up? (Soaps In Depth 6/20/06)

From the moment that One Life to Live's Spencer laid eyes on Starr's mom, the corrupt doctor was smitten. But even though he and Blair have gradually evolved into a couple, is it really meant to be? "I think they're made for each other," offers Spencer's portrayer, Paul Satterfield. "You can just look at them and see that they belong together."

So, this wasn't merely a case of David's brother wanting someone because she was already taken, in this case by Todd? "It has nothing to do with Todd one way or the other," clarifies Satterfield. "He's insignificant except for the fact that Spencer needed him out of the way."

Unfortunately for Paige's ex, though, it appears that it won't be long before his evil secrets are revealed for everyone to see. Can he really hope to hold onto his beloved Blair when the truth finally comes out? "Well, she's always been attracted to dangerous men," laughs Satterfield. "I think that it's possible that she could forgive him and, if in fact Spencer hasn't ended up doing anything really bad to harm anyone, then we'll see. It's hard to [tell] how she's going to react, but I wouldn't write them off!"
