Todd is Captured (Soap Opera Digest 4/11/06)

Todd rattles Starr and Blair's lives yet again this week when Bo finally tracks down the fugitive and takes him into custody. "Starr's really worried because she's like, 'Oh my gosh, they're gonna put him back on death row,'" previews Kristen Alderson (Starr). "Yet she's really happy that he's alive and she's able to see him. So, there's a lot of mixed emotions and crazy things going on."

Crazy thing No. 1: Starr walks in on a half-dressed Blair and Spencer as they're about to hit the sheets. "When Starr walks in, he's got [Blair's] top off," sighs Kassie DePaiva (Blair). "It's humilating for her."

But the interruption creates enough pause for fate to step in one more time. "While [Starr and Blair] are having this argument, Bo calls and says he's got Todd," DePaiva explains. "So they all go immediately down to the police station, and Starr runs down in front and goes, 'Oh, Dad, Mom's sleeping with Spencer!' He already knows because he saw them together before, but this is the firs ttime he knows that Blair knows he knows."

This latest turn has DePaiva really wondering about the future of the Mannings. "I think some people are over the typical Todd and Blair scenario of, 'Okay, Todd finds out, he forgives her, then they get back together and he messes up again and lies to her,'" DePaiva offers. "I don't know what the writers have in mind, but if they don't put Todd and Blair together again, it shopuld be because she just can't put up with it any more."
