Kevin Rescues Todd (Soap Opera Digest 3/1/05)

After two months of captivity, Todd is finally rescued this week on OLTL when he is picked up from the side of the road by the person (other than Margaret) who he least wants to see. "It's just great because it's [Kevin] who finds Todd," smirks Dan Gauthier (Kevin).

When the two enemies first encounter one another, they start to discuss their sordid history together and the conversation gets pretty heated. Initially, Kevin walks away before going back and taking Todd into his car. Todd then convinces Kevin to help search for Blair, who is still trapped inside the trunk of Margaret's car, and the foes form an unlikely and reluctant partnership.

"It's really funny stuff," Gauthier laughs about his on-screen reunion with Trevor St. John (Todd). "We have a good time together. Sometimes it's hard to read our lines because we're laughing so much. Todd just loves to goad Kevin."

Todd then accidentally mentions that he had sex with Margaret, and Kevin can't pass up an opportunity to have a little fun with his nemesis. "[Kevin is] the only one who knows that he and Margaret had sex," Gauthier reports. "He blurts it out; he's all sick and messed up. And Kevin literally stops the car and says, 'You WHAT? You had sex with her? Wait, I heard you say it, I'm pretty sure that's what you meant when you said, "I had sex with Margaret."' He's just like, 'Shut up, Kevin.' It's great. We'll have to wait and see what happens now."
