Blair Figures It Out (Soap Opera Digest 1/18/05)

Since the failed wedding attempt, Blair has been convinced that somethign horrible happened to Todd, and this week, she learns that crazy Margaret had something to do with his disappearance. "She doesn't know what she did [to Todd], but she's determined to find out," Kassie DePaiva (Blair) explains.

It starts when Blair gets a phone call from Mrs. Bigelow, who says she knows something about Todd's whereabouts. But when Blair arrives, she finds that Mrs. Bigelow has been murdered. "[Blair] is just pacing and thinking, trying to put the pieces together, and she figures out that it has to be Margaret," DePaiva offers. "She's on to her now."

Blair heads to Margaret's house to confront her. Naturally, she denies any wrongdoing. "Then she pulls a gun on [Blair] and once again, Margaret escapes, and Blair has nothing to go to the police about, nothing that proves anything," the actress previews. A distraught Blair then goes to Viki to tell her what she has learned. "Viki warns her that [Margaret] can be dangerous," DePaiva reveals. "And she says, 'Ya know what, Viki? So can I.'"

Ultimately, Blair turns to her aunt. "Dorian is always the thumbtack in the shoe," DePaiva laughs, "but she does come around and help Blair, even though I don't think she fully supports what she wants to do."
