Can Todd Make it Home? (Soaps In Depth 1/4/05)

This week on One Life to Live, Todd must go to extraordinary lengths to escape his cabin confinement and make it back to his family. Yet, just as he's made his exit, a shocking twist may be the gateway to even more trouble!

A Man With A Plan
When you're out in the middle of nowhere and riddled with bullet wounds, there's not much to do except plot and scehem. Luckily for Todd, those are the two things he does best.

Desperate to get back to Blair, Todd plans his escape from Margaret's makeshift prison. With his psycho stalker out for the evening, Tod stumbles across the tools he'll need to make his daring departure. However, considering his health, can he make it back to his sometime wife on his own?

Holiday Heartache
Meanwhile, back in Llanview, Todd's ditched darling is seeing red. Running into Kevin, Blair rips into the Buchanan blowhard by blaming him and his constant accusations for Todd's disappearing act. Following the heated confrontation, the jilted bride unwittingly runs into the woman who single-handedly ruined her wedding! Thankfully, she keeps her cool and, though fuming and hurt, Blair returns home to the comfort of her children, who are desperate to hear from their absent pop.

As she struggles to come to terms with being deserted on her wedding day, Blair will do her best to make Christmas merry for her children. But it will take more than a holiday miracle to bring this family back together. And when she tries to uncover the secrets of Todd's disappearance, Blair may be shocked to learn that someone very close to her may know more than they're letting on.

The Nightmare Before Christmas
With Christmas only a day away, Todd's desire to be with his family greatly intensifies, especially after Margaret gloats that she saw Blair with Kevin. Unfortunately, his cuckoo captor isn't about to have a change of heart. As she puts together a holiday celebration, Todd would rather hang with the Grinch than spend Christmas with this crank, so he makes his escape. But just when Todd thinks that he'll make it home for the holidays, a major roadblock puts the brakes on his plan to get back to Blair. Can he ever make it home to the arms of the one he loves?
