Todd Partners With Blair (Soap Opera Weekly 11/28/00)

Blair scrambles to cover her tracks and keep herself out of prison for shooting Max, this week on One Life to Live. For better or for worse, she has Todd backing her up.

It's a good thing Blair has Todd, because by herself, she might not be able to keep quiet. All it takes is a little questioning from John to make Blair sweat; she nearly cracks under the pressure. Her ordeal gets worse when Bo takes over the investigation and keeps hammering Todd and Blair about the night Max was shot.

Then there's the nagging question of whether Max is Rae's child. Rae insists on donating blood to help Max when she hears Asa asking Renee to do the same thing. That could be proof positive whether Max is Rae's son. Rae also accuses Skye of shooting Max.

Todd, meanwhile, is doing everything he can to make someone else look guilty of the shooting by planting evidence in another person's hotel room. As the results from the gunpowder-residue test come back, Max wakes up.

Rae insists that she saw Skye leaving Asa's place the night of the shooting. Interested by her claim, John allows Skye to visit Max in the hospital, hoping that more information will be revealed. Blair also pays a visit to Max, who is barely conscious.
