Blair Wakes Up to Find Todd Sitting in Bed With Her

When the scene opens, Blair is lying in bed -- sunlight is coming in from the window. She stretches, her eyes closed.

Blair: Mmm...Max, you were an animal...you tiger, you.
Todd's Voice: Yeah, he earns his stripes every day.

Blair's eyes open and she jumps when she sees that Todd is sitting at the foot of her bed. He's clearly been there for awhile, watching her sleep.

Blair: What are you doing here?!
Todd: I was looking at you.
Blair: Well don't. Now, stop showing up here out of the blue and -- if Max comes back and finds you here, Todd...
Todd: What? He'll what?

Receiving no answer from Blair, Todd continues.

Todd: Max pussy-footed out of here a little while ago.
Blair: Where'd he go?
Todd: My bet is that he went to go see the red-haired lady.
Blair: Skye?
Todd: Yeah, that's it. Why, is there another red-haired lady he's having an affair with?
Blair: It's over with them -- way over. Now, get out of my bed!
Todd: You know, Starr says she doesn't like what's going on around here -- with you and Max and Skye. Makes me question what kind of example you're setting for our young, impressionable daughter.
Blair: Oh, now isn't this the pot calling the kettle black? For your information, everything that I'm doing, I'm doing for Starr!
Todd: So what are you doing, Blair?

Blair answers him by getting out of bed -- presumably to go get changed.

Blair: You know what? Don't be here when I get back.

In the next scene, Blair returns to her bedroom from a shopping trip -- and finds Todd sitting in a chair by the window, casually flipping through a magazine. She gasps when she sees him, then regains her composure.

Blair: What are you still doing here, Todd?
Todd: No, it's not "still," it's "again." See I went out and I came back. Starr and I had lunch.
Blair: Why did you do that?
Todd: I was hungry.
Blair: She's supposed to be in her play group.
Todd: Yeah, well, she doesn't play well with other children.

Blair throws one of the bags she's carrying onto the bed and goes over to the desk.

Blair: Why are you back in Llanview, Todd? Hm?
Todd: Why not?

Todd gets out of the chair and walks over toward her.

Blair: Well, you're a wanted man for trying to kill RJ for starters, in case you have forgotten.
Todd: So what kind of revenge you want on Max and the red-haired lady?

Blair looks at him gravely.

Blair: What'd Starr tell you?
Todd: Starr told me everything.
Blair: Yeah, well, whatever Starr told you, it's my business, all right?
Todd: Oh, so all it is is that you're not pregnant but you're telling Max that you are? Oh, what will he do when he finds out, gosh -- jump off a tall step stool?
Blair: That's just for starters.
Todd: Well I guess what he did to you couldn't have been that big of a deal.
Blair: He had an affair, Todd! And he flaunted it in front of me all over town and yeah, I'm going to get him back for that!
Todd: (quietly) I don't know what you ever saw in that guy.
Blair: Oh, would you just get out of here and leave me alone, please?
Todd: You know, Starr doesn't like Max either. Maybe I should get rid of him.
Blair: Oh, and I bet you you would be very thorough at it too, but you know, no thanks, because I'm going to do it my way.
Todd: What are you, Frank Sinatra?
Blair: Ha ha ha ha. Even you will be impressed.

Todd seems to be contemplating something. Then he speaks again.

Todd: We were a team once. You remember?
Blair: Do I have to?
Todd: We could do it again. We could take on the world.
Blair: (quietly) I don't have anything against the world, Todd.
Todd: Fine. We'll start with Llanview.
Blair: But I tell you what, I am going to get back at Max. You'll see.
Todd: Yeah, I'm sure you will.
Blair: Oh, would you please -- just stop irritating me? Go find somebody else to bother, please!
Todd: You take care of Max...and I'll take care of the rest.

Todd strolls out of the room, leaving Blair looking very concerned.

Blair: What do you -- what do you mean the rest? (walking out into the hallway after him) Todd, wait a minute! What are you going to do?
