"Todd"/Victor & Dorian [2006-08]

[Todd arrives at the courtroom while on trial for Margaret's murder]
"Todd"/Victor: (to Blair) What, no lynch mob? Where's Kevin and Kelly and Dorian? Probably looking for a tree to hang me from.

Dorian: Excuse me, the Manning trial, what room?
Officer: I need to see your credentials.
Dorian: I'm family.
Officer: Didn't you work for "The Intruder"?
Dorian: I used to OWN IT.
"Todd"/Victor: Wicked Witch, 5:00.

Adriana: You really think Todd's going to get the death penalty?
Dorian: He murdered an innocent woman, and he murdered his unborn child. As far as I'm concerned, he deserves to pay with his life. And if they ask me to, I'd give him the lethal injection myself.

Dorian: (to David) Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get into the courtroom. I want to make sure I have a front-row seat to witness the destruction of Todd Manning in all its glory.

Rex: This has to be the worst day of Todd Manning's life.
Dorian: Oh, I can only hope so.

[Dorian tries to comfort Blair after Todd is sentenced to death]
Blair: Just don't touch me, Dorian! Stop acting like you care about Todd! You've hated him ever since I met him! So now he's going to die. You happy now? Huh?

[Dorian pays Todd a visit on death row]
Dorian: You said you wanted to see me. Well, here I am.
"Todd"/Victor: Thank you.
Dorian: No need to thank me. I wouldn't have missed this for the world. You destroyed Blair's life, and I can look you in the eye knowing it's going to be the last time because you have been sentenced to death.

Dorian: Look at your life, Todd. Do you really think you deserve a second chance? Do us all a favor and just die.
"Todd"/Victor: Who are you to tell me to die?
Dorian: I spoke my mind, my conscience is clear, and that's a wonderful thing.

Dorian: You know, Todd, I always did think that, in your own twisted way, you really did love Blair and the children. I know that you believe that you do. But real love requires self-sacrifice, and you're not capable of that.
"Todd"/Victor: What do you know about self-sacrifice, Dorian?
Dorian: I would run into a burning building for any one of my girls.
"Todd"/Victor: And don't you know I would do the same thing for Blair and my children?

"Todd"/Victor: Blair was going to marry me, I was going to have a family.
Dorian: Well, that's over because Blair hates you now.
"Todd"/Victor: No, nothing is over till I say it's over! And you believe me, you're not going to be a part of that decision!

"Todd"/Victor: The only thing you and I have in common is a hatred for Spencer Truman, right?
Dorian: Keep talking.
"Todd"/Victor: He's after Blair.
Dorian: Oh. So you aren't so preoccupied with yourself that you failed to notice that.

Dorian: (to David about Todd) Thank goodness there is a special place in hell being reserved for him thanks to a jury of his peers. May the good Lord bless and keep every wise one of them.

[Dorian worries that Todd is on the run and coming after her]
Lindsay: I've been on the run from the police, and I hate to tell you, but you're probably the last thing on Todd Manning's mind right now.
Dorian: Lindsay, this is Todd Manning we're talking about. Nothing he ever does makes any sense to anyone except him.

Spencer: Oh, Blair's through with Todd. She's over him.
Dorian: How many times have I heard that in the past? I've learned not to get my hopes up.

Dorian: You will take Starr and Jack out of this house over my dead body.
"Todd"/Victor: That would be a nice bonus.

Dorian: Who cares if you're happy? As far as I'm concerned, you deserve to be miserable.
"Todd"/Victor: You're not exactly one of my favorites, either, Dorian.

Dorian: (to Todd) As bad as Spencer is, I think you're worse.

Dorian: I just wish Todd would leave the room more often -- no, I wish Todd would leave the planet.
Clint: I thought the new Dorian was going to be a little more tolerant of people.
Dorian: Yes, but Todd is in a whole other category.

"Todd"/Victor: Viki tells me that you and Dorian are an item now. That's great, man. It couldn't happen to a better guy.
Clint: Not that it's any of your business, but Dorian and I broke up.
"Todd"/Victor: Aw, that's too bad. She's a real peach.

[A pregnant Blair wants to tell Todd that the baby is his even if it turns out to be Spencer's]
Dorian: Look, Todd may be many, many awful things, but he's not stupid, ok? He can add.

[Dorian comes upon Todd threatening to kill Spencer with a scalpel and she eggs him on]
Dorian: Oh, Todd -- do it. End that bastard's miserable life. Go ahead, Todd. Cut his throat, then we can watch him bleed to death.
Spencer: Yeah, Todd. Go ahead, do it, man. Come on, what are you waiting for? Do it!
"Todd"/Victor: (to Spencer) Tell me where my son is.
Dorian: He's lying if he says he knows. And if you kill him, you'll know that you're protecting your children -- and you could be the first man in history to be executed twice.
Spencer: Sounds to me like somebody's still pissed off about being left standing at the altar. Go ahead, Todd, make your kids orphans. Do it, man, do it.
Dorian: Todd, if something should happen to you and to Blair, I promise you I will raise those children. They won't have their parents, but they will want for nothing else. Kill him!
"Todd"/Victor: I'm not going to leave Blair or the kids alone, ever.
[Todd ultimately drops the scalpel]

Viki: (about Todd) Why does he always, always react like this?
Dorian: Well, if you can't understand him, then nobody can.

Dorian: Admittedly, Todd has never been one of my favorite people.
Blair: Huh -- really? You know, I -- I never noticed that before.

[Todd learns that Dorian wants him back with Blair]
"Todd"/Victor: Are you rooting for my team?
Dorian: When I finally saw your devotion to my niece.
"Todd"/Victor: And this is news to you?
Dorian: You haven't exactly been a supportive partner to her over the last few months or even years.
"Todd"/Victor: Yeah, I've been stupid.
Dorian: Hmm -- you're not going to get an argument from me on that.

Dorian: (about Blair) Give her time. She'll come back to you.
"Todd"/Victor: Yeah, that's what Viki said.
Dorian: Much as it pains me to admit it, sometimes we do think alike.
"Todd"/Victor: Hmm. And the world didn't come to an end?
Dorian: Hmm. Surprising, isn't it?

"Todd"/Victor: Blair and I are finished for good.
Dorian: Like I haven't heard that before.

Evangeline: Since when did you become pro Todd and Blair?
Dorian: I'm not so much pro-them as I am pro-her. I want Blair to be happy for once in her life. And if being with Todd does it for her, then so be it.

Evangeline: Todd is positively adamant that life means nothing without Blair.
Dorian: Aw, shucks. Did he actually say that?

[In the Valentine's Day fairy tale fantasy, Dorian tries to poison "King" Todd's wine]
Cole: That wine is poison.
"Todd"/Victor: Is this true?
Dorian: Why, of course not, my liege.
"Todd"/Victor: Then you drink it.
Dorian: Oh, no. I'm a beer girl myself.

Dorian: Blair, nothing would make me happier than to know that you are finally over Todd, but unfortunately, that is not true. He's in your blood.

Blair: (about Miles) He's direct and he's -- he's honest.
Dorian: Oh, I get it. Right -- you have found yourself the anti-Todd.

[Todd is back after being presumed dead in Chicago]
Dorian: Todd, it's good to see you alive and well.
"Todd"/Victor: Since when?
Dorian: Take it at face value, I'm not sure I can manage to say it a second time.

"Todd"/Victor: I'm sorry that the rumors of my death were exaggerated, Dorian. I'm sure it ruined your week.

Dorian: Todd, they have a really long list at the hospital of at-home-care nurses.
"Todd"/Victor: I don't want some old bag walking around here with orthopedic shoes asking me if “we're” feeling better.

Dorian: Viki has always been unpredictable, but --
"Todd"/Victor: Yes, tell me about it. I don't know -- maybe she just snapped under all the pressure with Jessica.
Dorian: Number eight and counting.

[Dorian is thrilled with the anti-Viki headline Todd ran in "The Sun"]
Dorian: Ha-ha! Well, the front page of this paper is going up on the refrigerator.
Blair: Let me see it. Oh, I can't believe Todd would do that.
Dorian: After all the things that Todd has done, you don't believe that he has done THIS?
Blair: But that's his sister, he loves her.
Dorian: Oh, oh, I could kiss him for this.

[Todd sees the anti-Viki headline from "The Sun" hanging on the refrigerator]
"Todd"/Victor: Oh, hey, you put it up.
Blair: Dorian did.
"Todd"/Victor: I love Dorian.

Starr: Where's my mom and dad?
Dorian: I imagine that your father is probably -- oh -- brainstorming some hideous headlines for tomorrow's edition, and your mother, no doubt, is playing Bonnie to his Clyde.

Blair: Miles just can't help himself -- he has to torture Todd.
Dorian: And I'm sure Todd had a very reasonable response.

Dorian: (to Blair) Todd holds on to every slight -- you cut ahead of him at the grocery store, you are going to find your tires slashed.

[Todd and the McBains are battling for custody over Todd's son]
Blair: You know, the McBains are not the only ones that could be hurt here.
Dorian: Oh, that's right. Todd first. Everybody else be damned.

"Todd"/Victor: (to Blair) Your beloved Aunt Dorian is going to throw the most lavish wedding this town has ever seen, right here at La -- La -- whatever.

[Todd is anxious for Dorian to start planning his and Blair's wedding]
"Todd"/Victor: So how long is it going to take to get this thing together, Dorian?
Dorian: I know everybody worth knowing in this town. With a few phone calls, I can get the place decorated and catered. I'm afraid the only problem is going to be finding any guests to come who are willing to wish the two of you good luck.

[Dorian goes to see Todd right before his wedding to Blair]
"Todd"/Victor: What? Say it.
Dorian: You hurt Blair, and I'll kill you.
"Todd"/Victor: Place looks great, Dorian. Thanks.

[After Todd says some surprisingly touching wedding vows to Blair]
Dorian: (in surprise) Who wrote that for him?

[Blair wants Todd to move into La Boulaie]
"Todd"/Victor: I'm not going to live in a house with a French name. What is a "Boulaie" anyway?
Blair: I don't know, Todd. I like it here, and so do the kids.
"Todd"/Victor: Did you tell Aunt Dorian that you asked me to move in? Oh. She's going to -- she's going to blow a phony French gasket.

[Marcie has kidnapped Todd's son]
Dorian: Oh, Todd -- any news on your little boy?
"Todd"/Victor: No. I'm out of here.
Blair: Where are you going?
"Todd"/Victor: To find him!
[Todd storms out]
Dorian: Well, I see Todd is handling this with his usual wisdom and forbearance.

Blair: (about Dorian) I think she can handle taking care of the kids for a couple of days.
"Todd"/Victor: She's probably making Jack sip his juice with one pinkie in the air, you know? Teaching Starr how to drive a man crazy -- 10 easy lessons.

Blair: You just can't handle Dorian.
"Todd"/Victor: I can handle Dorian. I can't stand Dorian.

Dorian: How does Todd do it? He's off goodness knows where chasing after his baby boy, and yet, he still has time to publish this slanderous rag.
Blair: Well, what can I say, Dorian? Todd is a get-her-done kind of guy.

Langston: You hate Mr. Manning and you could smack him down if you wanted to, but yet you let him live here? What's that all about?
Dorian: Keep your enemies closer. Besides which, as much as I dislike Todd, I love Blair -- and Starr and Jack and for some reason, they seem to need him. You know, sometimes you just have to make sacrifices in order to ensure that your family is happy.

Dorian: Are you planning on selling your penthouse?
"Todd"/Victor: Yeah, Dorian, you want to buy it? You can give it a fancy French name for all I care.

Dorian: Wait a minute, Todd. If you think that I am going to be happy having this big, huge house all to myself with just me and Langston, well, you're wrong. I like having you here.
"Todd"/Victor: No kidding -- me?
Dorian: No, not you --
[Todd chuckles]
Dorian: But it has been bearable.

Dorian: But why Hawaii? It's so far away. And, Todd, what will you do there?
"Todd"/Victor: Same thing you do here, only with a Hawaiian shirt on.

"Todd"/Victor: Dorian, what'd you do with my spear gun and scuba gear?
Dorian: Hmm?
"Todd"/Victor: Ah. What you watching? A little bit of "Boy Toys Gone Wild" or something?
Dorian: Oh, don't be crude, Todd.
"Todd"/Victor: Well, I don't want my children exposed to your style of entertainment, Dorian.

Blair: You do this destructive stuff all in the name of protecting your daughter. It's right out of one of Todd's playbooks.
Dorian: Don't you ever, ever compare me to Todd!
Blair: Well, stop acting like him, then.

Langston: (about Todd) He's crazy!
Dorian: Yes, he can be when it suits him.

Jack: I don't want to stay home. It's boring, and Dad was going to take me to the go-carts.
"Todd"/Victor: That's right. It's been a while since he and I have had a little father-son day.
Dorian: Oh, that's brilliant. Yes, never mind the fact that the go-carts are a death trap.
"Todd"/Victor: Are they? Why don't you come along Dorian? Maybe I'll get lucky.

"Todd"/Victor: (to Blair) Kick me out, it's going to be one big cry fest around here.
Dorian: Well, we will just have to survive that. And gradually as the children see that life doesn't have to lurch from one crisis to another, they will agree that it really was worth it to have you gone.

[Viki is making breakfast]
"Todd"/Victor: Oh! That smells so much better than that French crap Dorian always makes.

Blair: I'm going to go wash my face and wash my hair.
Dorian: Good. Scrub hard, all right? Make sure you get all of Todd out.

[Blair tells Dorian that Todd was at the hospital when Starr was giving birth]
Dorian: Wait. Todd shows up here at the hospital just before Starr's baby mysteriously died? Are we supposed to think this is just a coincidence?

Dorian: (to Blair) The police will probably charge Todd, who will, uh, hurl insults, make accusations, hire an expensive team of lawyers until somebody finally shoots him and then we can have some peace.

Dorian: (to Blair) We better not run into Todd, because the mood I'm in, I'm going to say a bunch of things that I will not regret.

Dorian: You really were in love with Todd?
Marty: Yes.
Dorian: I'm so sorry to hear that. I thought you were smarter than that.
