T&B WEDDING SCRAPBOOK: Proposals
[Note: Each picture's label refers to the wedding that followed that particular proposal. Also note that because some of the proposal scenes were kind of lengthy, only the main part (the proposal itself) and other key bits are included.]

Todd: I don't want you to marry him.
Blair: What?
Todd: I don't want you to marry Cord. That's my kid.
Blair: It's our kid.
Todd: Whatever. Look, maybe we ought to get married. People do that, right? Friends having a baby?
Blair: Yeah, well -- you want to marry me? I mean, you're sure? You really want to marry me?
Todd: Yeah, I mean if you...? Yeah, okay. Would you marry me?

Todd: Maybe I -- I should've -- shouldn't have given you the ring first. Maybe I -- now I'll never know. Maybe I should have just pretended that I lost all my money in the stock market and all I had to offer was me.
Blair: I wouldn't care if you didn't have a dime.
Todd: Nah, you're lying. You'd -- you'd hate to be poor.
Blair: Oh, I didn't say that we'd be poor. If you lost 28 million -- if you lost ALL of that 28 million tomorrow, we would lie, and cheat and get every penny of that back. We'd find a way to make it to the top, wouldn't we?
Todd: You want the world, don't you, Blair?
Blair: Don't you?
Todd: If I had the world in my hand, it wouldn't mean a thing if I didn't have you.
Blair: You mean that?
Todd: I love you. Will you marry me?

Blair: I walk out on you, you have me arrested! I make a move on Cristian, you practically kill me! I mean, where is it all going to end? Where is it all going to lead, Todd??
Todd: Well, that's easy. You're going to marry me.
[Later, Todd expands on the reasoning behind his proposal...]
Todd: Love isn't real, Blair. It isn't -- it's a -- it's a figment of our collective imaginations. It is a colossal twisted mass hallucination.
Blair: Well, you're wrong Todd. It isn't.
Todd: No, no, I'm right. Love is nothing but bad poetry. Love doesn't -- it's not even real. It's an illusion. It's -- it's -- it exists only in our minds. The truth is -- is that we are alone. And the only reason anybody buys into this whole love thing is because they think that it tracks in somehow with what they think they want, which is to not be alone. You name one person who exists completely without love. That's me. Nobody loves me. I don't care. I don't deserve it. Nobody deserves it! It doesn't -- nobody understands that, Blair. It's -- because everybody in this world really is...a moron. Love is a hoax. It's a joke. It's a slight of hand. And the only people -- the only two people in the entire universe who are in on it are you and me. We're the only two people on the planet who get it. I will never hurt you. And I will never let you down. Because you expect nothing from me to begin with. There's no downside. If you do get anything from me or I from you, then it's -- certainly more than we ever figured on getting. Ah! You see it! Oh yeah, you see it! I can see that you see it!
Blair: Yeah. I do.
Todd: Well then. Perhaps you better reconsider my proposal.

Todd: Blair, nobody likes me. And when I'm not with you I can really -- I can see their point. But when I am with you, I don't really care what anybody thinks. And I'm willing to put up with you for as long as you'll put up with me. And that -- that goes into forever or even longer. And if that's not love, then I don't know what is. I promise you that if you marry me that you'll never regret it. Okay, that's not true. I mean, you'll probably regret it just about every day of your life, but -- but I promise you that I won't regret it. So, what do you say? We got a deal?

Blair: What is this? And what is going on here?
Todd: What's going on here is we're going to get married. If you'll put up with me.
Starr: Of course she'll put up with you! Right, Mommy?
Blair: I don't know what to say.
Todd: You're not going to make me get down on my knees, are you?

Todd: I've got Andrew here so that he can marry us right now.
Blair: You could have asked me first.
Todd: Well, consider yourself asked.
Blair: Todd, we just now got back together.
Todd: Right. This will make it permanent. All right, let's get started.
[Later, Blair questions Todd...]
Blair: What is the rush? I mean, come on, we just -- you know, we got -- we just got back together.
Todd: Right, right, because we belong together. And, okay, sure, Blair, look, we fight, we break up, but we always wind up back here. And so we should get married. We should be together because that's the way we're supposed to be.

Todd: Blair. You're the only right thing I've ever done in my life.
Blair: Oh, Todd.
[Todd kneels down]
Blair: What -- wh-what are you doing?
Todd: I should have done this a long time ago. Then I spent all those years locked away from you, and I --
[Todd takes a deep breath and shows Blair the engagement ring]
Todd: Blair, I love you. Marry me. Again.
Blair: Get up, get up. Oh, my God.
Todd: Um, this is a little rushed. You're right. I -- you've only been talking to me again for like 12 hours.
Blair: Oh, Todd.
Todd: Please...put me out of all of my misery. Please say yes.
